RC Tanks
What is fashion? Is it the way you walk? The way you style your hair? Your attitude? One of the RC Tanks most common things I think of when I think of fashion is clothing. I think the media has somehow embedded this in my mind! I thought that it would help me if I looked up what fashion is in the dictionary for this letter. It said that fashion is “The mode of dress, manners, living.” That’s a lot broader than what I thought! In ancient times clothing was simple, based more on function than style. Men and women wore a big rectangular piece of wool six feet wide and about a foot and a half taller than the person. The wool was wrapped around the person and pinned on the shoulder with a broach. Fabric was mainly white or off-white, but never bright colored. In fact red was forbidden for commoners. Hair was mainly worn in braids or covered by fabric draped like a hood. But now the word fashion is closely related to style. Dresses of – different materials, Different colors are made. Dresses are classified into numerous ways that it’s difficult to remember them all. Clothing is also classified based on seasons. Different types of materials for different seasons that help us to cope up with the changing climate. Courses on fashion have been started. Numerous fashion universities have been developed over the past decade. Youngsters are more attracted towards fashion, especially ladies in fashion design or as fashion models. On the whole fashion has a greater impact on the society.
